It includes a range of delicious spritzes, passion fruit and expresso martinis, a mimosa and two non-alcoholic options too. A very wholesome day out in Yorkshire 🚂 The Railway Children as part of @bradford_2025 @worthvalleyrailway Hop on the steam train to and from Keighley to Oxenhope, where a very unique auditorium in the engine shed allows for a magical, immersive and interactive version of The Railway Children, on the same tracks it was shot. Breaks before, during and after the show allow you to treat yourself in the tea-room or various food stalls around the auditorium. I definitely think so! 📍 @bosunsrestaurant , @theriverfront_york , Bishopthorpe Sat on the banks of the River Ouse, you can find the prettiest restaurant inside and out and I decided to spend my birthday eve there! After some rosemary and garlic focaccia with a beautiful pesto butter as an appetiser, we both went for the 8oz flat iron steak which for me was the perfect level of tenderness and chewiness. I really liked some extra touches to make it special, such as a warmed steak knife and a happy birthday dessert! It’s definitely worth visiting on a Thursday night where they have an offer two steaks for £45/£60 (depending on the cut) and on a Sunday for their set menu for £30/37 for 2 and 3 courses respectively. The best breakfast buns in Yorkshire (and ever!) 🔥 📍 Thirty Nine Kitchen and Bakehouse, Ilkley I was very happy to return here after first going in Autumn last year to try their delicious lunch menu and sweet treats. With a new season, comes new decor, and the lovely cafe was draped in seasonal floral decor. We opted to sit outside in their cozy outside seating area draped with fairy lights and blankets on every chair. We both got the breakfast buns - mine was the veggie one and it had all my favourite things in it - avocado, fried egg, cheddar, hash browns & chipotle mayo and it was absolutely phenomenal, helped by the amazing taste of the bun and the creaminess of the avocado. I also opted for the sunrise breakfast smoothie which was delicious - apple, mango, passionfruit, oats, coconut yogurt and chia seeds! ad A taste of the Middle East in York 🇸🇾 📍 @damastique_uk , Goodramgate We were kindly invited to Damastique and wow, did they serve us a FEAST! We loved the touch of having complimentary lentil soups, a warm and hearty start to the meal. A special shoutout also has to go to the array of starters on offer, these were definitely our favourite part of the meal. The damastique cold platter in particular was a highlight as well as the taboulleh and I loved all the flavours and vibrancy of the dishes. For the mains we received a selection of shawarmas, including halloumi, chicken and lamb as well as a delicious chicken tagine which was our favourite main course. The restaurant is fully halal which means they don’t service alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own, or try one of their mocktails, of which I highly recommend the strawberry ‘no’-jito or lemon and mint flavours.
